Jim Martin voted in the primary
WHEN: 10 August 2010
WHERE: Your polling place

Parties have endorsed candidates they think should be nominated for election. For some offices, non-endorsed party candidates are seeking their party's nomination. Today, voters that affiliate themselves with a major political party are making an important decision. Whoever receives the most votes at the primary election will be nominated by their respective party for election at the the general election. Also on the primary ballot are candidates that seek election to "non-partisan" offices, which include county commissioner, county attorney, and mayor. In these cases, the primary will reduce the number of non-partisan candidates. Those that receive the most votes will be placed on the general election ballot.

The results of the primary election in district 56A have been recorded by precinct.
